MSAE is proud to announce our 2009 Outstanding Volunteer Service Awards.  The MSAE Outstanding Service Awards recognize members who exemplify the strong support and participation needed to make the Midwest Society of Association Executives thrive and succeed.

Best Supporting Company of the Year - AVEX and Mike Rowberg

This award recognizes the outstanding support an MSAE Allied member’s company provided throughout the year. This award highlights the company’s dedicated services and time to the Midwest Society of Association Executives. 

Mike and AVEX are always there to support MSAE and help produce great events, like the Holiday Celebration and Expo. Mike really steps up to participate on committees, share his expertise and offer a hand when possible. The value AVEX provides MSAE is very generous!

Young Professional Volunteer of the Year - Jennifer Hoyland, MN Utility Investors

This award honors a young professional member of MSAE, for their strong commitment and support of MSAE through their willingness to volunteer and participate in the organization.

Jennifer has played an integral role in the YP group: planning, creative ideas and willingness to provide time, resources and enthusiasm. The YP group wouldn’t be the same without her

Outstanding Association Volunteer of the Year - Dara Rudick, MN Commerical Assn of REALTORS

This award recognizes an association member who best demonstrates outstanding leadership and inspires others to volunteer and contribute toward the enhancement of MSAE.

Dara is such an advocate for MSAE – she’s continually reaching out to our members (and non-members) encouraging them to get involved and spreading the word about MSAE. She’s an outstanding leader, encourages her employees to participate, helped the young professionals group off the group, served on the board, fall conference committee and oversees the CEO circle. 

Outstanding Allied Volunteer of the Year - Anna Tanski, Visit Duluth

This award recognizes an allied member who best demonstrates outstanding leadership and inspires others to volunteer and contribute toward the enhancement of MSAE.

Anna has worked tirelessly with and for the Allied Council and MSAE as a whole. Under her leadership the group has grown exponentially. There are several reasons for this growth, all connected to Anna’s leadership. Anna is a LEADER: Visionary, focused, committee, engaged, inviting and exceedingly effective!
